Virus is operated by ESTABLISHMENT AL-KHALIYYA AL-ASBIA COMMERCIAL. You have the right to permanently delete your Virus account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the steps to do so, what data is removed, and what is retained.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account will be scheduled for deletion and fully removed within 30 days.
How to Delete Your Account
To request account deletion, open the Virus app and log in. Go to the Account tab, then tap 'Delete Account'. You will be prompted to request a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered phone number or email. Enter the OTP to verify your identity and confirm the deletion request. Your account will then be scheduled for permanent deletion.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Once your deletion request is confirmed, the following data will be permanently removed: your profile information (name, photo, bio), contact details and login credentials, booking history and transaction records, reviews and ratings you have submitted, uploaded media and content linked to your account, and all notification and preferences data. All account data is completely and permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
Data That May Be Retained
We may retain certain data for a limited period as required by applicable law: transaction and payment records may be kept for up to 5 years for tax and financial regulatory compliance. Any retained data is stored securely, is not used for marketing or profiling, and is deleted as soon as the legal retention period expires.
Retention Period
Your account and all associated personal data are fully and permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of your confirmed deletion request. During this 30-day period your account is deactivated and inaccessible. After 30 days no personal data remains, except where required by law as described above.
